Privacy notice

How HairLens handles capture, storage, consent, deletion and exports.

On-device analysis by default
Separate consent categories
Append-only consent history

Capture stays local first

The app only asks for storage when you explicitly turn it on, and the default request carries no image data off the handset.

Consent is split by purpose

Capture, storage, third-party processing and research each have their own switch so one decision never silently changes the others.

Deletion is tracked until complete

Requesting erasure records the intent first, then confirms the file is gone so there is a clear paper trail instead of a hopeful spinner.
