You might want to take a clearer photograph, understand a product label, or make a routine easier to follow. You might also have a concern that needs more than a website. HairLens is most useful when you start with that specific question rather than looking for one score to explain everything.

The current site brings together educational guides, a journal, and local product demonstrations. You can read without creating an account, follow related topics, and explore what a proposed feature might look like. Those activities are different from receiving a diagnosis, getting a personal analysis, or using a connected health service.

This overview explains the experience as it exists now. It does not promise a launch date or imply that an app-store download is available when no verified destination is configured.

What you can use on the website

Educational guides

The guide directory organizes hair and scalp topics so you can start with a question and read the context around it. Articles explain limitations, link to relevant sources, and distinguish general information from personal assessment.

The new capture guide, hair type guide, and porosity observation guide focus on practical descriptions. None asks you to treat a home observation as a measured diagnosis.

Journal articles

The journal explores everyday questions in more depth. It includes ways to maintain a photo record, think about a routine, and read privacy or product claims carefully. The articles are intended to be read and used as context, not followed as a personal treatment program.

Clearly labeled demonstrations

The onboarding experience lets you move through questions and preview a photograph locally. Its result is a fixed example, not a calculation from your image. The product scanner page opens a fictional ingredient sample rather than recognizing a real package.

Account-access and assistant screens also show the limits of the current implementation. A convincing interface should not be mistaken for a connected service simply because it has familiar buttons or a conversational appearance.

Three realistic ways to use the site

You want a more consistent photo record

Begin with the capture checklist. Choose a view, note the setup, and keep your original photographs in a location you control. Read the baseline article if you are deciding which picture should start the sequence.

You do not need to upload photographs to read the guides. If you try the local preview, remember that its sample report does not evaluate your image. Keep the distinction between learning a workflow and receiving a result clear.

You are trying to understand a bottle you already own

Read the complete package label and directions, then use the ingredient-label guide to organize your questions. Note which names you recognize, which need checking, and what the list cannot tell you about the finished product.

The sample scanner is there to demonstrate an interface. It is not a shortcut around missing information, a product endorsement, or a personal suitability check.

Your routine has become hard to manage

Write down the steps you currently use and the time they require. The routine planning guide shows a fictional week you can adapt in your own document. The companion routine article explains how to simplify the habit rather than add more tasks.

These are ordinary examples of using educational material. They are not accounts of customer outcomes or evidence that a product or routine will change your hair.

Keep availability separate from the product idea

HairLens describes concepts involving personal records, guided capture, product information, and care notes. A concept explains an intended direction. It does not establish that a feature is released, clinically validated, or connected to an account.

Use the existing Get the App page for the site’s actual availability state. Do not interpret a mock phone screen, store badge, or sample workflow as proof that a download has started. This migration adds written pages, not mobile releases or new services.

Similarly, the new guide URLs do not bring back the old site’s browser tools. There is no working routine generator, photo comparator, or ingredient-recognition system added by these pages.

Understand the current privacy boundary

The local demonstrations and the educational pages have different purposes from a future mobile account. The implemented photo preview does not call an analysis service or upload the selected photograph through that feature. That narrow statement is not a promise that no network activity occurs: pages and assets still have to load.

The technology page describes the current implementation, and the Privacy Policy is presented with its existing draft status. Read those descriptions in context. Do not assume they verify the final behavior of a product that has not been released.

For any future app, check the actual release disclosures about processing, storage, accounts, permissions, and deletion. The on-device article explains why those questions need separate answers.

What this website is not for

HairLens does not diagnose the cause of a change, prescribe treatment, provide a clinical hair-density measurement, or replace examination by a qualified professional. Its educational material cannot account for your full history or circumstances.

If a symptom or change worries you, seek appropriate advice rather than waiting for a demonstration to confirm it. A written timeline or a clear photograph may help you describe the issue, but neither should delay the next step you need.

The site also does not verify competing apps or certify products. A comparison checklist helps you ask questions; it does not mean the answers have already been independently checked.
