How these tools work
The 4 camera scans use two small models that download to your browser the first time you start one: a face landmark model that finds points on your face, and a hair model that marks which parts of the photo are hair. They run on your device. The photo, the measurements and the result stay there and are gone when you close the page.
Quizzes and calculators run on the page too. Nothing is saved, sent or used to train anything, and there is no account.
Every number is a cosmetic estimate from one photo or a few answers, not a diagnosis. The thresholds behind each result are our own rules of thumb, written on each tool page. If you are worried about hair loss, a dermatologist can examine your scalp in a way no photo can.
